so, i started off my morning at the charlotte airport, and finally i have made "status" with u.s. air so i don't have to pay for my checked bags - that is 30 dollars a trip i will save quintiles. so, then i ask if this means that i will get moved up to first class some, and the lady says, "if you pay the $50 upgrade." what is the point? i could have done that without having status, haha. then i travel to reagan airport in d.c. - nothing major to report there. i drove to bladensburg, maryland - and the doctor had a meeting with some drug reps before our appointment. i got to sit in while these two drug reps tried to sell crestor and nexium - that has got to be the worst job in life. those poor guys got all of 7 minutes of his time, and they even brought him sushi. dr. poochikian interrupted the guys, took a phone call during their spill, and signed some documents for the nurse - all during this precious 7 minutes. can you imagine if that was your job? then the doctor used me as his way out of the meeting with the reps - it was very interesting to say the least. i then came back to charlotte to fly to florence, south carolina. so, i'm waiting at my gate and a gentleman has a seizure - it was very scary. he had no idea who he was, how old he was, or where he was. i felt bad for him because he was at the airport by himself, everyone was staring at him. hopefully he is ok. then i get on the smallest plane i've ever been on, seriously, it had 10 rows, and that is it - a little propeller plane - and we are 9th in line to take off, so i get to hear the roar of those propellers for at least 20 minutes, fun times. we arrive in florence to an airport that is about the size of a walmart, no navigation at hertz, and one very small baggage claim track. i love these places though because the employees at the airport can tell you where anything and everything is because the town is so small.
alright, well i need to do a little work before going to bed, so i'm going to stop typing on this thing. just thought i'd update you on my travel fun for today. 7 days to closing, 11 days to move in!!!
